Write to the school if you wish to withdraw your child from SRE, sometimes known as scripture. SEE is an option for your primary-age child if you withdraw them from SRE. For more information, visit Religion and ethics.
At Sarah Redfern Public School, SRE is delivered on Wednesday from 2:00pm – 2:30pm.
On enrolment, parents/carers will be given the SRE participation letter. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE should be given to the office, in writing.

All SRE teachers are authorised and trained by an approved provider.
During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities including private study such as writing and reading activities.
