Other enrolment details for our school
All new enrolments from Year K to Year 6 will be completed online by clicking on online enrolment button available on this page. Please ensure you complete any information about your child's needs, including allergies, health conditions or additional support requirements. A risk assessment may be conducted if needed.
During the enrolment process you will be required to provide:

Proof of your child’s identity and date of birth (e.g. birth certificate or passport)

Proof of residential address - 100 Points proof of address (e.g. driver's licence, utility bill, lease agreement)

Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register. (AIR)

Any family court orders (if applicable)

Medical information: Copies of any medical/healthcare or emergency action plans. For example, a child with allergies will need to provide details and potentially an action plan.

Other health, disability or support needs: you will need to provide copies of medical/healthcare or emergency action plans and evidence of any disability and learning and support plans.

Attend an interview with the principal.
Children with Disability or Additional Learning Needs
We welcome and support children of all abilities at Sarah Redfern. The Department of Education provides a range of support options, including:
- In-class support within your local school
- Specialist support classes in mainstream schools
- Special schools (Schools for Specific Purposes or SSPs)

Changing Schools
If your child is transferring from another public school, please contact us directly to discuss enrolment and any required documents. You may also need to complete an out-of-area enrolment application, depending on your residential address.
Temporary Resident students
Families on temporary visas can find detailed enrolment information and application forms via the Temporary Residents Program.

School contributions
In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.
