Harmony Day 2025
Harmony Day is a time for us to celebrate Australiaβs many cultures and come together as a welcoming, inclusive school community. It reminds us to show respect, kindness, and acceptance, and to create a sense of belonging for everyone.
Harmony Day also encourages us to recognise that we all belong. When we learn from one another and celebrate our unique backgrounds, we grow together as a stronger, more connected school community. Every studentβs story matters, and together we help create a place where everyone feels valued and supported.

Inclusive Sports Day Excursion
Students recently participated in the NSW School Sport Unitβs Inclusive Sports Day, a fantastic event celebrating participation, teamwork, and inclusion.
The day provided students from Kβ12, across support, SSP, and mainstream settings, with the opportunity to experience a wide range of sports in a supportive and encouraging environment. All activities were modified and adapted to suit the needs of every student, ensuring everyone could take part, have fun, and experience success.
Students rotated through a variety of sports including AFL, basketball, cricket, football, goalball, netball, table tennis, and more, learning new skills and enjoying the spirit of friendly competition.
Our students attending a farm excursion
During our recent farm excursion, students immersed themselves in authentic agricultural learning. From feeding and caring for animals to discovering how crops grow, the day offered rich, hands-on experiences that supported their understanding of sustainability, food production, and rural life. The excursion sparked curiosity and gave students a deeper appreciation for the environment.
"We love our school for its supportive community and commitment to every studentβs success. Our child feels safe and inspired every day.β β a parent of Sarah Redfern Public School
